A Successful Event to Raise Awareness of Homelessness in Mercer CountyOn Thursday, October 8, 2009, The Mercer Alliance to End Homelessness honored 6 local champions at a reception. We also released our "Next 5 Year Plan to end homelessness in Mercer County, A New Direction for Ending Homelessness in Mercer County". The reception was held at the Art Council of Princeton, in Princeton, NJ.
The Alliance was please to Honor as Volunteer of the Year, Kathy Shaw; as Landlord of the Year, Rob Rubiano; as Affordable Housing Champion, Mayor Mildred Trotman; as Media Champion, Brian Malone, The Times of Trenton; as Corporate Champion, Fred Egenolf, Bristol Myers Squibb; and as Legislative Champion, Rep.
